finally got a chance to write
I have not writen in ages. Had a crappy week jammed with some cool stuff but also some annoying stuff. It seemed like anything I said or did was misinterpreted and made something negative but I guess you win some and loose some and tomorrow's a new day.
I will dwell on the highlights of the week

A call from Sallie from Italy
Ted saving the day at bible study and calming an upset Mason after his shoots
Lizzie's surprise for us from parent's night
The humor of Lizzie's mischief at school (sitting in the teacher's chair)
Having a beautiful and loving family and friends and having God to turn to in prayer

Failed the first part of my gest. diabetes testing but have not heard yet from the doctor what were the results of my second. I am hoping ok since no one was in a rush to call me.

bible study verse from week one of growing series
Week 1 readings Growing Series

2 Corinthians 3:18
18All of us, with no covering on our faces, show the shining-greatness of the Lord as in a mirror. All the time we are being changed to look like Him, with more and more of His shining-greatness. This change is from the Lord Who is the Spirit.

Philippians 3:13-14
13No, Christian brothers, I do not have that life yet. But I do one thing. I forget everything that is behind me and look forward to that which is ahead of me. 14My eyes are on the prize. I want to win the race and get the prize of God's call from heaven through Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 3:9-13
9How can we give God enough thanks for you for all the joy you give us? 10We keep on praying night and day that we may see you again. We want to help your faith to be complete. 11May our God and Father Himself and the Lord Jesus Christ take us on our way to you. 12May the Lord make you grow in love for each other and for everyone. We have this kind of love for you. 13May our God and Father make your hearts strong and without blame. May your hearts be without sin in God's sight when our Lord Jesus comes again with all those who belong to Him.

Colossians 1:28
28We preach Christ. We tell every man how he must live. We use wisdom in teaching every man. We do this so every man will be complete in Christ.

Colossians 1:9-10

9This is why I have never stopped praying for you since I heard about you. I ask God that you may know what He wants you to do. I ask God to fill you with the wisdom and understanding the Holy Spirit gives. 10Then your lives will please the Lord. You will do every kind of good work, and you will know more about God.
Memory verse of the week
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all theses things will be given up to you as well
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness ask and all things will be given un to you
ingdom of God and his righteousness ask and all things will be given un to you

Week 2
Corinthians 3:16-17 (New Life Version)
16Do you not know that you are a house of God and that the Holy Spirit lives in you? 17If any man destroys the house of God, God will destroy him. God's house is holy. You are the place where He lives.

Ephesians 5:18-21 (New Life Version)
18Do not get drunk with wine. That leads to wild living. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit. 19Tell of your joy to each other by singing the Songs of David and church songs. Sing in your heart to the Lord. 20Always give thanks for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
How Wives Must Live
21Be willing to help and care for each other because of Christ. By doing this, you honor Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (New Life Version)

17The heart is free where the Spirit of the Lord is. The Lord is the Spirit. 18All of us, with no covering on our faces, show the shining-greatness of the Lord as in a mirror. All the time we are being changed to look like Him, with more and more of His shining-greatness. This change is from the Lord Who is the Spirit.

Romans 8:15-17 (New Life Version)
15I do not understand myself. I want to do what is right but I do not do it. Instead, I do the very thing I hate. 16When I do the thing I do not want to do, it shows me that the Law is right and good. 17So I am not doing it. Sin living in me is doing it.

1 Corinthians 2:12-16 (New Life Version)
12We have not received the spirit of the world. God has given us His Holy Spirit that we may know about the things given to us by Him. 13We speak about these things also. We do not use words of man's wisdom. We use words given to us by the Holy Spirit. We use these words to tell what the Holy Spirit wants to say to those who put their trust in Him. 14But the person who is not a Christian does not understand these words from the Holy Spirit. He thinks they are foolish. He cannot understand them because he does not have the Holy Spirit to help him understand. 15The full-grown Christian understands all things, and yet he is not understood. 16For who has the thoughts of the Lord? Who can tell Him what to do? But we have the thoughts of Christ

Week 3
Psalm 42:1
Prayer To Be Home Safe Again
1As the deer desires rivers of water, so my soul desires You, O God.

Psalm 37: 4-5
4Be happy in the Lord. And He will give you the desires of your heart.
5Give your way over to the Lord. Trust in Him also. And He will do it.

Psalm 138:8
8The Lord will finish the work He started for me. O Lord, Your lovingkindness lasts forever. Do not turn away from the works of Your hands.

Psalm 147:17-19
17He throws down His ice as hail stones. Who can stand before His cold?
18He sends out His Word and melts them. He makes His wind blow and the waters flow.
19He speaks His Word to Jacob, and His Law to Israel.

Isaiah 50:4-5
4The Lord God has given Me the tongue of those who follow Him, that I may know how to give strength when I speak to one who is tired. He wakes Me up morning by morning. He wakes up My ear to listen as a follower. 5The Lord God has opened My ear, and I obeyed Him. I did not turn back.

Memory verse week 3
“you are worried and upset about many things but only one thing is needed. May has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her”
Luke 10:41-2

bible study
Hello everyone
Yes I am finally on live journal, I am having problems with tabs and enter keys getting me in trouble and will learn later how to make it beautiful realized I have a lot to accomplish next week since we will be hosting thanksgiving dinner at our home. I hope I will be more like Mary and not Martha allowing myself to enjoy the day.
oh and thanks so much for the flowers Shannon even those I don't think Miss Grabich even knows I have a live journal site
as for the memory verse of this week
"you are worried and upset about many things but only one thing is needed Mary has chosen what is better and it will not be taken away from her (luke 10:41-42)

I think especially in life and in light of the holidays that are coming it is important to keep on eyes on the true meaning of the season (Jesus is the reason for the season) and not get hung up in the gifts, lights, parties, places to be etc.

Ask your parents and see who will be attending bible study next week it would be at our home or should it be cancelled
